We had a fantastic time on our Gibb River Road adventure, and we couldn't have done it without the great support from the team at Broome and Beyond. The 4WD vehicle and camping equipment were just what we needed, the whole hiring process was simple to manage, and communication was prompt and helpful. The expert advice we received before we headed off made a big difference, and it was good to know backup was there if needed. You won't do better!

We hired a Broome & Beyond Extra cab (1.5 cab) Trayon to travel from Darwin to Broome across the Gibb River Rd. What a wonderful experience. The Toyota HiLux was almost new and handled the off road travel very comfortably. The Trayon was easy to set up and close down and it was a pleasure to be able to both cook and sit outside on clear starry nights and inside when the mozzies were roaming. Pick up and drop off was easy with lots of good advice and guidance at pick up. Brendan provided excellent support, was contactable at any time and was very responsive to any questions we had during the trip. Highly recommended.

We have had nothing but the best experiences with Broome & Beyond. Our vehicle TRAYON (Toyota Hilux) was brand new and a faithful companion, we had a great time. The team in Broome and especially the manager of Broome & Beyond, Brendan, really impressed us: we had smooth and uncomplicated contact at all times, communication was always very fast and very competent. Hired a Toyota Hilux with Trayon for 29 nights to travel the Gibb River road and then on to Darwin. This was an excellent choice for us and far better than a rooftop tent. The Trayon is easy to set up (5 minutes max) and provides plenty of luxuries, fridge, sink, lots of storage. The vehicles had done less than 50,000k and performed as expected. On the couple of occasions that we needed to contact Broome and Beyond for advice it was as simple as a phone call and resolved immediately. Thanks to B+B we had a fabulous trip and will use them again for our next trip in the Kimberlies.

The Kimberley by 4wd is getting so popular that I booked over 6 months ahead to get the vehicle and company I wanted. The reviews of Broome and Beyond are well earned. My partner and I had an extraordinary 3 weeks travelling in an extra cab Hilux with a Trayon camper. The vehicle was on its third hire and looked brand new. This was a bit daunting as I knew from my previous trip in the Gibb River Road just how hard on vehicles it can be, and I thought that dings and scratches would be inevitable. We first travelled to the Dampier Peninsula to get familiar with the rig and to make sure we had everything under control before we headed North from Broome.We had our first minor issue on a Sunday (of course) when we could not get the air hose to connect properly to the compressor. Brendan arranged for us to visit one of the super friendly staff at the Broome office to look at it. He was at home (it was Sunday) and he fixed the problem in 5 minutes then we were on our way. That's what I call service! The corrugations were so bad that it caused the front number plate to suffer metal fatigue and fall off somewhere along the road. We contacted Brendan who told us not to worry and that it was a fairly common issue. The last issue was completely my fault as I had got the time for the vehicle return wrong. Anyone who has ever hired a car and failed to return it by the agreed time will know what a big deal this is. Brendan and the wonderful team at the Broome office sorted us out and the holiday ended with smiles all around. Making a booking so far in advance and paying out many thousands of dollars for a holiday is always a bit of a gamble. In our case it was so worth it. The vehicle got us through some atrocious roads and mud puddles without a murmur. The Trayon camper is a good concept but felt a bit rough around the edges with some very quirky features like tent pegs as adjustable pins for the entry stairs. We are in our seventies and reasonably fit, but the set-up and take down was always a bit of a chore. Because of the way that many campsites are organised now, you set up camp in the afternoon then have to pack up everything in the morning to drive the few kilometres to see the gorge or whatever. That probably explains why camper trailers and huge caravans are now the vehicles of choice. I guess everything has its place, but personally, I was very glad to see double axle caravans banned from Pernululu. In summary, we had a great experience, and simply could not fault the service and care from the whole team at Broome and Beyond.

Cannot rate our hire experience more highly. From initial inquiries to pick up and communication along the way Brendan and Tracey have been fantastic to deal with. Our Extra cab Wedgetail camper was sensational! - virtually new, excellent tyres, 2 spares, well equipped for a month out in the Kimberley. Quick to set up and pack up too. We had an amazing trip and would not hesitate to book through this crew again.

Two week loop, Broome to Kununurra via the Gibb and back to Broome via the highway taking in Bungle Bungle and Mimbi. A few campgrounds only just opened due to late rains, vehicle was perfect, handled everything without skipping a beat. Service was seamless. Thoroughly recommend.

Without them, our trip across WA wouldn't have been so magical. What professionalism, we had a small problem with the fridge. Brendan was super helpful and offered us lots of solutions. It was perfect.

Absoluter Wahnsinn! Vom Fahrzeug über die Beratung zum Support war alles super! Wir haben einen Monat im Hawk Camper (Toyota HiLux) verbracht. Das Auto war sehr komfortabel und super ausgerüstet mit allem was man braucht. Brandon und sein Team waren jedezeit erreichbar und halfen wo sie konnten. The best thing about Christmas isn't the fat red man, the imaginary God.... or the ample beer consumption.... no.... it's renting a 70 series landcruiser from Broome and Beyond. For me, it has become a ritual. Brendan and his fabulous team have equipped these indestructible vehicles with all you need for your own adventure into the Australian Bush. This year we headed up to Exmouth. Stopping off at Trisel beach we saw Green turtles struggling against the waves as they made their way up a moonlit beach to lay their eggs. No one else was there; half a dozen majestic reptiles, us, and a fabulous manual land cruiser with a fridge full of cold beer. Thanks Brendan, you are the real Santa.

Nous avons voyagé durant 6 semaines de Broome à Perth. C'etait un magnifique voyage . Le véhicule n'avait que 14000 kms au départ. Aucun problème mécanique. La tente de toit était spacieuse et facile à déplier tous les soirs. le matelas etait confortable et il y avait tout ce qu'il faut pour la cuisine. Nous avons eu des explications très clairs au début du voyage . A Perth on nous a commandé un taxi . Nous recommandons vivement cette agence. Les personnes sont très sympathiques et connaissent parfaitement leurs véhicules.

We drove and camped from Darwin to Broome in blistering 39 degree September heat. What an exhilirating awe inspiring experience - the sheer beauty of Nitmiluk, the dazzling gold honeycomb of Purnululu, and the majesty of the gorges and swimming holes along the Gibb. Thanks to Broome and Beyond the 4 wd Hilux Trayon campers worked very well, the cars handled the rugged terrain easily and sleeping under the stars was a treat. Being able to sit inside the camper, have a cup of tea and read our books after a big day of walking or driving was a real bonus. B and B were very responsive and helpful on the odd occasion we needed them. Thoroughly recommended

We picked up our Hilux in Broome and drove the Gibb River Road, across to Katherine and then onto Darwin. Tracey and Brendan made the whole experience super easy and were so great to communicate with - from the initial booking, to numerous emails prior to departure, talking us through the camper at pickup and then prompt replies to questions/queries along the way. Nothing was a hassle. Easy set up and pack away, comfortable bed and enough room and storage for all of our food and clothing. Highly recommend Broome & Beyond and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another trip.

What an adventure. It was all made easy by the staff at Broome and Beyond. An excellent in in-depth brief at the beginning of the hire and they had no issues extending our hire when we decided that we were enjoying the trip so much that we just had to add more days. Wow Wow Wow, My husband and I have just spent the last 4 weeks traveling from Perth to Broome. We had the most wonderful adventures and saw some pretty amazing sights that WA has on offer. We could not have done it so smoothly without the assistance of our little camper from Broome & Beyond. Tracey and Brendan went over and beyond to make our holiday an exceptional experience (right down to booking a taxi for us at the end of our trip). The vehicle was almost new and our Trayon was way roomier than what we expected, easy to put up and down and not too big to park. Broome and Beyond Camper Hire was a great experience. The trip from Broome to Darwin was fantastic, the car was perfect for the trip with averything you need to provide confort in this difficult environment. The team provides a great service not only on selling but on everything you need pre, post and during the trip.

The 4 door Hi-Lux camper we hired was almost new and in excellent condition. It performed faultlessly as we travelled the Gibb River Road and to Purnululu. It ate up the rocky creek crossings and steep climbs. Excellent preparatory briefing and well equipped. Our only suggestion is that a detailed list of kitchen and other equipment included could be on the website for potential hirers. The one query we had on the road was promptly answered by Brendan. Highly recommend Broome and Beyond for good vehicles, support and quality.

We were able to go and look at the campers at Canning Vale, before making our decision. We found the team here in Perth and in Broome friendly, very approachable and helpful. We booked the camper and picked it up in Broome. It worked well for our needs, we did the Gibb River Road. No issues with anything, all worked well. We would highly recommend Broome and Beyond for any camping trip.

Recently finished up our two week trip through the Kimberley’s on the Gibb and the great northern highway. Brandon and he’s team were so helpful from the start to finish. We hired a Hilux 4x4 with a tray on the Ute was given to us in great condition and super clear and we didn’t have a problem the whole trip it was easy to set up and pack down and was also very comfortable. The Ute comes with absolutely everything provided for camping making the trip super easy!! Couldn’t recommend Broome and beyond more, thank you guys !

We rent a Toyota Hilux with twin RTT from Broome & Beyond in December 2023. From the very beginning of the rental procedure Brendan and Tracey have been extremely friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of suggestions and advices. What an epic WA trip! Our family (2 adults and one child) hired a Trayon 4WD camper from Broome & Beyond, for 7 weeks. From the very start Brendan and Tracey were responsive and helpful. When we picked the camper up they gave us an extensive training session, including 4WDing advice and how to set up the camper (so good to have a rental that you can go 4WDing with!). The camper came with everything we needed - cutlery, pots+pans, bedding, emergency locator, a handheld CB radio, tyre deflator+pump, plus much more. The camper had a solar panel on the roof, combined with a dedicated battery, which powered the fridge, lights, and even USB charging points. We ordered a cassette toilet (extra) so we could be totally off-grid. Brendan and Tracey were responsive through Whatsapp, email, and SMS. When we had a minor mishap with damage to the camper Brendan organised a fix right away, in the town we were staying. Brendan is a legend, really knows his stuff! We couldn't be happier with the service and vehicle we had from Broome & Beyond - recommend 100% - wish we were still travelling around in it :)

Broome & Beyond is the best place to hire your vehicle for a trip in West Australia. Everything was perfectly organized and well prepared. Also the communication by email was easy and fast. My husband and I hired a 4WD camper from Brendan for our trip around the gold mining area. We were so impressed with the vehicle, which turned out to be brand new. It was kitted out with everything you would need for such a trip. The service and information provided was excellent, which was a great help to us. We hired a 4WD Toyota Hi Lux with trayon camper from Perth to Broome 4/10/23 via the coast up to Exmouth, then in to Karijini, back the coast from Port Hedland north. Brendan and Tracey were wonderful as already stated in these reviews. The Hi Lux could have taken us anywhere. It did 110 km/hour on the sealed roads with no problems, about 11-14 L/100 km and felt equally at home on sand and corrugations around Karijini. In the camper the fridge and stove worked beautifully and the battery, powered by solar panels and the alternator, would have sustained us for 2-3 days easily. The little gas stove was a special treat, using very little of the cylinder of gas provided. It warmed us nicely when we cooked dinner inside in the cold coastal winds, and the rechargeable fan was wonderful at Cheela Plains where the temperature at sundown was 42 degrees. Bed was very comfortable and the canvas cooled down quickly after sunset with fantastic windows and screens. The shower with plastic skirts for privacy was a wonderful luxury and used very little of our water supply at the few places we stayed without water. This was our first trip camping or staying at caravan parks and we booked everywhere in advance as two of the three weeks were WA school holidays. In retrospect we didn't need to as this camper would have sustained us in roadside free camping areas for days at a time. The standard of cleanliness in every place we stayed was great, and the reception we got everywhere was wonderful. Fellow travellers were mostly our age (70s) although we met some lovely younger families as well. Brendan answered immediately when I forgot his instructions on how to tie down the fold out section whose gas struts were pushing it back up on our first night setting up in the dark in Geraldton. I forgot a lot of his detailed advice about setting up and packing camp so reinvented the wheel as we went: we should have taken a video when he was showing us the set up in Perth. I found that when folding up the top, using some cord to tie it down about 30 cm from fully closed, stopped the gas struts from opening it again, which would have allowed folds of canvas to obstruct closure. Instead it allowed me to go around tucking in the canvas top before clipping the top down. There are 24 hour credit card bowsers about 10 km south of Exmouth on the way back to the northern highway, about 15 c/L cheaper. Diesel cost us $2.25 at a BP workshop in Port Hedland up to > $2.70 at Sandfire Roadhouse. We made the mistake of topping up there for > $100 then finding the caravan park at Port Smith had a diesel bowser then costing $2.61. We did not think to ask for: coffee plunger, beach towels, tarp or other mat to spread on the ground around the stairs under our fold out bed section to stop importing the red dust at many of the campgrounds and caravan parks. I am sure Brendan would have provided something like this if we had thought to ask. Our can of Rid came in handy for Mr McGowan's welcoming committee for NSW people, of bush flies that otherwise crawled into ears, eyes and mouth every time the tyres need deflating or inflating. A baseball bat would have helped for the March flies in Port Smith. On the other side of the coin, the beach at Gordons Bay just north of there, only be accessible by 4WD, was spectacular and deserted. Brendan's advice to let the tyres down to 15 psi on sand came in handy there, and on our trip from Quobba past Red Bluff, Gnaraloo, Warroora and a day or so later on the trip from Coral Bay up to Exmouth via Ningaloo and Yardie Creek. We crossed the sand in the Yardie creek bed and nearby beach with no problems and a 4WD immediately got bogged going the other way. It cost us a bit over $20 to get the red dust off the car at the car wash they recommended in Broome. Overall it was a magnificent holiday made possible by the camper and wonderful service provided by the people in the Perth and Broome offices of Broome & Beyond.

We had a great holiday driving from Broome to Perth , everything was spot on with the 4WD ,even all its accessories and equipment. Would not hesitate hiring from these guys again , Brendon and Tracy were unreal and easy to deal with making the whole experience so much better. This is by far the best hire company I’ve dealt with for real adventure. The Trayon system is really simple to use and allows for unlimited exploration of the top end and Kimberley. Tracey is an asset to the company who is helpful and knowledgeable. My family and I had a fantastic time and we will look to hire again for a similar adventure. The camper is suitable for two adults and my 6 year old daughter. We had the fortune of experiencing some very remote areas with this setup without a care in the world. Totally disconnected from the world.

My husband & I, both seniors, hired a Hilux dual cab with rooftop tent & Trayon for 3 weeks to do the Gibb River Rd. We found the company to be honest & helpful & the almost new vehicle was capable & well set up for the trip. Our experience was amazing & am already planning the next adventure & would not hesitate to use Broome & Beyond or WA Experts, as they're also known. We had travel insurance so took basic cover with this company which saved us money but with lots of side trips to gorges on non gazetted roads realised we had no cover on these tracks which we would have had with companies own insurance, so something to consider when booking. Also everything on trayon is quite high to reach, lights, see in fridge,so helpful to have some small folding steps with you. Thank you Broome & Beyond for your timely responses to all my emails, for the amazing, well set up & comfortable hire vehicle & tent, your helpful pleasant staff & for your rapid return of my bond, it was back in my account the following day. Advise to renters, respect what you've hired belongs to someone else & return in good clean condition.

After a great experience hiring a camper from Broome & Beyond to travel through the east Kimberley in May (ex-Darwin), we hired from them again for our recent west Kimberley adventure (ex-Broome). Another fantastic trip and excellent service from start to finish from the Broome & Beyond team. We hired a 78 Land Cruiser troopy for our May trip and an Isuzu Tray-on for our recent trip. Both great vehicles, well maintained and fitted out with everything you need. Would definitely go through Broome & Beyond again!

We had an amazing time with the hilux/trayon camper.Everything was provided as we would have had if it were our own.We did the full broome to Kununurra Gibb river Rd down to Wolfe creek and back to broome.We had no problems with the car or any equipment....not even a flat tyre!!!!... We had a fantastic holiday in part due to the quality and care that goes into look after us and providing a 4WD and Camper that more than makes life easy when away from the world. We loved the Hilux and TrayOn so much we are in the process of buying one for our home adventures here in NZ. We will be back to book another vehicle for the next segment of our Oz adventures.

We hired a Toyota Hilux with a Trayon from Broome and beyond for 3 weeks in May. We had a great trip traveling from Broome to Darwin via the Gibb River Road. A real 4WD adventure! The combined car and camper was perfect - taking us everywhere we wanted to go. We felt well equipped and comfortable, and Brendan and Tracey were super helpful.

Don was super helpful in planning our long road trip, with his local knowledge, and provided us with an ideal vehicle for that role- a Toyota Hilux, battery big enough for the fridge, much larger fuel tank for the long distances required, plenty of power to tow the campervan and pass the long road trains, and doors to the rear storage lifting up on each side for easy access to the equipment and food. Booking was straightforward, and the lady preparing the vehicle and necessary connections to the campervan for departure super friendly and helpful.

We rented a Hilux Trayon from Broome and Beyond for 4 weeks and travelled through Western Australia. The truck was excellent - we could go anyplace - the roof top tent was easy to setup and all little things you need out in the bush were available. A little issue withbthe stove was fixed by the firm in record time. Tracey and Brandon are great. They were so friendly and helpful that we rather felt like friends than customers. To cut it short. When you are looking for a 4WD truck to travel through WA Broome and Beyond are the perfect provider!
